If you are an Illinois homeowner, you already know the story. Year after year, ComEd rates continue to climb, making it harder and harder to budget for your home’s energy needs.

Every time the weather changes and your HVAC system kicks on, you are left bracing for an unpredictable—and often frustratingly high—utility bill. But what if you didn't have to just accept those rate hikes? What if you could stop renting your power and start owning it instead?

At Fibonacci Energy, we believe it’s time for homeowners to take back control.

The Power of Switching to Solar

Why keep paying a utility company for energy that constantly fluctuates in price when you can generate your own? Switching to a custom-designed Fibonacci solar and energy storage system completely changes your relationship with the grid.

When you make the switch, you immediately gain the ability to lock in predictable energy costs, drastically reduce your ComEd bill, and gain true peace of mind with whole-home battery backup during outages.

The Fibonacci Formula: How to Unlock $1,500+ in Total Value

To help our local homeowners make the transition to clean, controlled energy this season, we aren't just lowering your utility bills. We have put together a comprehensive incentive program that puts over $1,500 directly back into your pocket.

We will help you navigate the paperwork to secure exclusive rebates that can pay you thousands just for upgrading your home's energy infrastructure.

3. The $1,000 Referral Program Once you experience the benefits of owning your power, you'll want your neighbors to have it, too. For every friend, family member, or neighbor you refer who makes the switch to solar with Fibonacci Energy, we will send you an additional $1,000 cash bonus.

⚡ UPDATE: July 4th, 2026 — The Most Important Deadline in Illinois Solar

Since we published this post, the solar landscape in Illinois has shifted dramatically — and the window for maximum savings just got a hard deadline.

On July 4, 2026, the last federal investment tax credit for commercial solar projects expires. The Section 48E commercial ITC still offers a 30% tax credit — but only if construction begins before July 4, 2026. After that date, this credit disappears entirely.

But here’s what makes right now extraordinary: while the federal government pulled back, Illinois did the opposite. The Illinois Shines program increased SREC payouts by 34 to 43 percent for the 2026–2027 program year. That means homeowners and businesses can now recover 20 to 30 percent of their total system cost through SRECs — the highest levels Illinois has ever offered.

What This Means for Homeowners

Even though the federal residential credit (Section 25D) expired at the end of 2025, Illinois homeowners now benefit from record-high state incentives. Combined with full net metering credits, ComEd battery rebates up to 00 per kWh, and our Pure Power Promo, the payback window on a residential solar installation has never been shorter in Illinois. The economics are better now than when the federal credit existed.

What This Means for Businesses and Commercial Properties

If you own a commercial property, farm, church, nonprofit, or multi-family building, you’re racing a hard clock. Start your project before July 4th and you can stack the 30% federal ITC with the highest state SRECs Illinois has ever offered. That stacking opportunity will not exist again.

Fibonacci Energy installs Sol-Ark hybrid inverters with open-battery architecture — your system works with any 48V battery, up to 470 kWh of storage. You choose the battery. You own the system. And with our expedited project timeline, we’re staffed to meet the July 4th deadline.

Don’t let July 4th pass you by. Schedule your free consultation today at fibonacci.energy.
